Ithink you should highlight my wife, Lora, and Walk MS Shelby County. Last year was the first year for the walk in Sidney and my wife worked very hard to get it here. They raised over $43,000 and had over 550 participants. The goal was $10,000 and 250 participants.

Please highlight Ferguson Middle School. Middle Schools get very little coverage if any and they play sports, compete, win and get amazing honors in art, science and music. A few teachers to find are Mr. Kelly (US History) Mrs. Rosier (science)& Mrs. Hedlund (Reading). You will come to find Ferguson to be an amazing place to showcase filled with interesting facts, and people.

It would be wonderful if you could do a cosing segment on one of the oldest churches in this rgion. St Paul. A.M.E. Church is one of oldeset churches of this denomination in Ohio, and the oldest black church in Champaign County.Located at 316 E. Market St, it has a beautiful piece of art work located in the santuary behind the pulpit, an dthe church began in the 1800s. It once was labeled a "select school" for the community several years before the opening of a school by the city. The church is listed on the National Registry of Historic places in D.C. It's doors are open to anyone who seeks hope and salvation, and the church is involved in the community affairs. PLease stop by and vist if time permits, you can contact the pastor at 937-239-1477 or email at prov3_545417@yahoo.com. If he cannot be presnt, some one would represent the church and give you a tour. The church will be celebrating it 185th Anniversary next month as well, Thanks and God bless, looking forward to hearing from you.

I understand you are going to Vandalia this week.. one thing that needs to be mentioned is the fantastic teachers that work in Vandalia. As a fourth grade teacher at Murlin Heights I know that we all work hard to make sure to give our kids the best education we can and to treat them as our very own with love and guidance. Please take the time to show off Vandalia's great school system and teachers. Thank you!

As someone who has lived in Vandalia, loves Vandalia and still works in Vandalia, there are some great places to visit. Cassel Hills golf course is one of the best public golf courses around. Jim's Donut Shop has been there forever, and the donuts are always good. The Hall of Fame museum is still on the ATA fairgrounds. And you can't leave Vandalia without getting a malt from Airline Dairy Creme. (We also call it Fat Rat's but it is always out of affection, and has absolutely nothing to do with a rodent.) Vandalia is more than the city next to the Airport. We are close enough to Miller Lane to get to all the stores and restaurants we would want, but the actual city is small enough to not lose it's "small town charm". Ken's Pharmacy has been in Vandalia for over 38 yrs, and there is something to be said when people in a business actually know your name, and have seen you grow up. The Original Rib house has been around for 27 yrs, and has a lot of great old pictures in the hallway of "Old" Vandalia, and the ATA. It mesmerizes people to look at the old pictures and remember that we truly are the crossroads of America.
