It was all part of the PACE School and Community Expo, which showcases all types of schools throughout the community.
Parents say it's a good opportunity to see what options are available for their kids. Kim Jackson-Cook attended the event looking for the right school for her son who is getting ready to attend middle school.
"I want to make sure my son, my youngest son has the same type of choices that we were able to find for my oldest son," said Kim Jackson- Cook
The Program Manager says over 80 exhibits were showcased and about 1,000 people attended the event.

Police: Man carrying child killed by train in Ohio

TRENTON, Ohio (AP) -- Police in southwest Ohio say a man carrying a 4-year old child across railroad tracks has died after being hit by a train and the toddler has been taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The Hamilton JournalNews reports (http://bit.ly/yZ6boV) that Trenton police chief Tim Traud says the man was carrying the child in a stroller at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday when he was hit.
Traud says the man was in his mid-30s. The child was taken by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital. Names were not reported.
